CSI Vellore Diocese, has grown into a major spiritual domain with 100 pastorates and 100 pastors, one "A" Grade college, 6 Higher Secondary Schools, 5 High Schools, 5 Middle Schools and Elementary Schools along with 2 Hospitals, 3 Institutes, and 2 Training Institutes spread on to adjoining states in South India.

Today, CSI Vellore Diocese stands as a prominent evangelical headquarters in South India and is reputed for its uncompromising stand on human rights, social equality and social action.

Vellore Diocese is becoming more and more a community that expresses gratitude and generosity, that practices and shares a progressive, positive, and practical spirituality, that promotes Inclusive growth for every kind of people, that is reaching out Io share its healing, hope filled message with local community and the world beyond it, and that is improving and growing in the areas of stewardship, discipleship, and spiritual fulfilment. Our Diocese is an increasingly engaged, committed entity, dedicated to making a difference in the world, for which we register our humblest gratitude to Lord Almighty and remain beholden to every leader of the Diocese, past and present who contributed Io this growth.

Throughout the Bible, the Lord reminds people to tell all generations o their Lord’s wonderful works. Primarily what that means for us as the Diocese is that we must preserve the memory of how God has worked in the last four decades for our Diocese. A diocese like ours which has a strong sense of its own history will have a better sense of identity on which we will continue to build the future.

CSI Good Shepherd Church, Tindivanam Celebrates Sesquicentennial

CSI Good Shepherd Church, Tindivanam reached a milestone on 23.02.2020 by completing 150 years of existence. Bishop in the Vellore Diocese, Rt. Rev. H. Sharma Nithiyanandham, dedicated the sesquicentennial memorial pillar and delivered a special message. Our Bishop was warmly welcomed by the congregation. In commemoration of this auspicious day, a special postal stamp depicting the church was released by the Honourable Law minister of Tamil Nadu government, Mr. C. Ve. Shanmugham and the first stamp was received by our Bishop. The Chairman of the Pastorate and Presbyter in-charge, Rev. Noble Gembeeram, Secretary, Treasurer, and the Committee members had made commendable efforts in making the arrangements. Ayaramma, Rev. Rt. Rev. H. Sharma Nithiyanandham, the Bishop in Vellore Diocese of the Church of South India (CSI) visited Devalois Higher Secondary School, Kasam, on 26.02.2020. CSI St. John's Church Fort had come forward to construct three classrooms for the school. Our Bishop was warmly welcomed by the teachers. The Bishop laid the foundation stone for the upcoming construction and planted a sapling followed by hoisting the national flag and distribution of Government free cycles to the students. The area Chairman; Rev. Gabriel and local pastor; Rev. Shanthakumar, Rev. Jared, Mr Arul Ruben, Mr Paramanandam; Correspondent, and Dr Chandran Devanesan; Headmaster took part in the event.

It was a day filled with amazing moments at Easter hill which is a historical place where many people of God rendered great ministry. Yesterday (01.12.2019), we celebrated the flag hosting with the presence of our Honourable Bishop Rt. Rev. H. Sharma Nithiyanandam. It was huge gathering around 2000 members were present. It is a historical event all the 10 churches brought their Christmas flags. Our Bishop delivered greetings and remembered the memorable moments when he was a pastor in Easter Hills during 1992. He shared the close association and integration with the pastorate and the villages. It was a splendid and magnificent event filled with a crowd, cultural, Holy Baptism and Holy communion. The program was closed with fellowship lunch to all the members, who were around 2000 in number, present. We wholeheartedly thank our beloved Bishop and pastors for their presence in the memorable event at Easter Hills.

Bishop Sharma Nithiyanandham Celebrates His First Christmas as Bishop with Leprosy Patients

The Bishop in Vellore Diocese of the Church of South India (CSI); Rt. Rev. H. Sharma Nithiyanandham, celebrated his first Christmas as bishop with leprosy patients at Bethel Puram, Keerasathu village comes under C.S.I. Zion Marikuppam pastorate.

The program was arranged by the women's fellowship of the diocese under the silent servant president Mrs Jessie Sophie Sharma and her team. The area chairman Rev. Gabriel, Rev. Sasi Kumar and other pastors graced the memorable and satisfying program.
